To all of our friends, or those visiting this site for the very first time, our sweet Seymour passed away in his 17th year. He slipped away from this life, as I snuggled him close and told him how much I loved him----those of you who have lost a beloved animal friend understand. Our hearts are broken, but we will always be grateful for the many years we shared our lives with Seymour. I don't think any dog could have been more loved. He was blessed with a length of years none of us thought possible.

Seymour's Memorial Garden

For Seymour. . .

Seymour, you were valiant, courageous, tough, funny, and brilliant. You taught us so much about never giving up when challenges come. You lived in your K-9 Cart an additional 6 years, after you became paralyzed at age 11. You never stopped, never let your physical challenges get you down and in fact, nothing stopped you, until your frail, beautiful old body just wore out.

You lived the life you were meant to live. A long, good dog’s life, full of sniffing, barking, playing, running and joy. For that, we will always be grateful to God. Thank you for sharing your beautiful, precious life with us. Thank you for being our dearest animal friend. We know we will see you again in heaven and that you are now, finally running free, without your cart. No one will ever take your place. We will always celebrate your life and remember you, with great joy. There will never be another dog like you. You are in our hearts every day. We love you little buddy. Thank you for sharing your life with us--you were a gift from God.
